Lenny's expertise in the dental industry, including dental implants, comes from many sources including his certification as both a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) and a Master Dental Technician (MDT).
With close to fifty years of industry experience (he began working in the industry at 16), he shares his knowledge and expertise with dental students as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry, Restorative and Prosthodontic Science, and the department of Biomaterials and Biomimetics at New York University College of Dentistry.
His teaching experience extends to Farmingdale State College where he is a Professor in Science and Technology Programs, School of Engineering Technology, at Farmingdale State College, State University of New York.
Lenny is the owner of Marotta Dental Studio and MDS Cranial Facial Engineering, which specializes in the fabrication of titanium medical and dental implant prosthetics, based in Farmingdale, NY.
